If you are like many women and some men, shoes and boots are a source of pure joy! I can freely admit that I am a boot hound, not so much shoes, although I have been know to drool over a few pairs. My issue with most of the fancy shoes I see are the heels, I have never been able to wear heels due to my strangely thin weak ankles 🙂
I digress, but only a bit, this is where my love of boots come in. I have many, but I never had fleece boots, like the Sheep DAWGSÂ at DAWGS Footwear. When I was offered the chance to review DAWGS Footwear, I jumped at the boots, because they were just so cute and looked super comfy and most of all…WARM! See, I also suffer from terminally cold feet, I don’t know what it is, but I am always complaining that my feet are cold!
As soon as I received my 9 inch Side Tie Sheep DAWGS I put them on and immediately knew I would love them, I didn’t even put on socks! So after I properly put some socks on, I tried them out at the grocery store. I wore them with a pair of jeans, tucked in. OMG! I am in love with these boots! They fit me to a tee, didn’t squeeze the life out of my calf or feel bunchy or stiff. They are super comfortable and best of all, they kept my feet warm and not so warm that I felt like I was sweating to death.
The other feature I loved and need because I am a klutz, are the slip resistant rubber soles. I tested them out by trying to slide in the grocery store, which I’m sure caused a few people to think I was a little nuts, but guess what? I didn’t slide or fall, so a huge plus in my book!
I guess what I loved most besides everything else I am gushing about, is the fact that they are really cute, and will go with both jeans and skirts. I tried them with both and thought they went really well. I tried a long skirt, but I could also see wearing them with a short skirt and dark tights…cute!!!
