Valentine’s Day has come and gone and you know what, I am “that” woman who honestly doesn’t care about it. My husband and I have an understanding, and it mainly stems from us having to be frugal and watch our pennies, but we don’t bother buying chocolates and flowers for Valentine’s Day, because more so to me, it’s a waste of money. Really, it is.

My reasoning about not really celebrating Valentine’s Day, besides, saving money, is the fact that it feels weird forcing romance on one particular day. He does little romantic things all year long, so I’m more surprised and happy when the unexpected romance pops up 🙂

My point, you can be romantic all year long, even if you stay at home and make a pizza and watch a movie. 🙂

Speaking of pizza, I was asked to check out Dr. Oetker Ristorante brand frozen pizza. I had never heard of them to be honest, but was interested to learn more.

Dr. Oetker’s Ristorante frozen pizza is fresh, features fresh, high-quality ingredients on a thin crispy crust and affordable while tasting expensive. They range from $4.99 to $5.99, which is great if you are a pizza lover and on a budget.

My husband and I decided to make it a romantic night, so we prepared both of the pizza’s we received, the Ristorante Funghi for me because I love mushrooms and the Ristorante Mozzarella for him because he is a purest when it comes to pizza, just cheese please 🙂 We popped a bottle of wine and enjoyed a night together, well, kind of, the boys were here of course, so we had a family dinner a pizza, wine and juice 😉 It was nice sharing the pizza with the kids, and they enjoyed it too. Even my picky child devoured the pizza, so I say we have a winner 🙂

The pizza’s were both amazing, and fresh – they even look yummy frozen. They didn’t taste at all like frozen pizza, and I mean at all. I think we will be purchasing Dr. Oetker Ristorante frozen pizza in the future, this is coming from my husband who is a frozen pizza snob, lol.
