The new Breyers Smooth & Dreamy ice cream bars and sandwiches are simply divine. Really, what more could you ask for at the end of a long hot summer day? If you are on the East coast, then you are really experiencing “hot” summer days with heat indexes near 100!  I know myself, that ice cream is one of the sure best ways to cool off, and a good excuse to indulge 😉

This is where Breyers Smooth & Dreamy comes in, with six flavors including Chocolate Caramel Brownie, Vanilla Caramel Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Vanilla Fudge Brownie, and Triple Chocolate Chip. There’s a flavor to suit everyone’s sweet tooth.

I tried out the Triple Chocolate Chip ice cream bars because chocolate is my weakness. If I am going to splurge, I want great premium chocolate too and with 130 calories and 6 grams of fat I felt good satisfying my sweet cravings without going having to worry about blowing my diet. They are decadent but without the added fat and calories.

I am a firm believer that you should eat what you want but not in excess when trying to lead a healthier lifestyle, Breyers Smooth & Dreamy ice cream is the  perfect way to reward yourself. The Triple Chocolate Chip combines dark chocolate chips, which are my favorite, with light chocolate ice cream and a milk chocolate coating. They satisfy both my ice cream and chocolate cravings all in one yummy bar.

I recommend trying out one of the six flavors, you are bound to find a new favorite to reward yourself.
