Ok, so here I go with another As Seen on TV product, told you I loved them!
This time I was asked to review Wuggle Pets, a toy where you can make your own little “Wuggle” stuffed animal.
Wuggle Pets is an assortment of eight collectible baby pets that children bring to life with an easy 12-piece starter kit. The kit includes one fun filled factory, a Magical Unicorn and a Cuddle Puppy, two bags of fluffy stuffing, two bags of magic dust, two sheets of personality charms, two birth certificates and a zipper lock.
My 8 year old was happy to help Mom make a Wuggle Pet so we got all of items out of the box and he chose the one he wanted to make, he chose the blue puppy over the Unicorn. The way this works is super simple and my son had no problems getting it set up, with the exception of keeping the Wuggle Pet on the tube where the stuffing comes out, they do mention in the directions that you may have to hold the pet in place, which we did.
So first, he added the fluffy stuffing to the stuffing press, then sprinkled in some magic dust (how cute is that?):
He put the lid on the press, then it was time to place the puppy on the Fun Fill Factory Nozzle. I held the Wuggle while he turned the crank and we filled up the puppy Wuggle. Once that was done we removed him and shaped the stuffing to fill out the Wuggle. From the Personality Charms we chose one that fit the Wuggle – My son chose “Cool” and placed it inside and used the handy zipper tool to close him up.
So there you go! A completed Wuggle Pet, isn’t he cute? The Wuggle Pets also come with a Birth Certificate so you can name then, write the date they were created and by whom they were created. We really had a great time making them and plan on giving one to my niece, most likely the Unicorn one, since the puppy has a permanent home here now 🙂 My son wants to hang him on his bag, and since they have a handy little clip attached, this is easily done.
You can purchase the starter kit for $19.99 and then individual kits for $7.99. Very affordable for such a fun and creative activity to do with your children. I love the personalization you can do with each pet and the hands on creation is even better, my son loved that he actually “made” a toy.
